Perched atop a scenic canyon and lagoon teeming with native chaparral and wildlife—including red-tail hawks, bobcats, and coyotes—this coastal canyon residence remodel celebrates its breathtaking natural surroundings. The design enhances the home’s connection to its environment by embracing natural light, creating a clean and bright interior, and incorporating a farmhouse coastal bungalow style.

The project included both interior and exterior updates, with new siding and roof slope modifications at the front entry and guest suite. Inside, the removal of a central wall transformed the layout into a seamless great room that flows effortlessly into the outdoors. A reimagined kitchen layout, along with fully renovated bathrooms, bedrooms, flooring finishes, and custom built-ins, brought a fresh and cohesive aesthetic to this tranquil retreat.
